Raise a Glass is an evening of merriment to celebrate The Colonial’s programming, mission, and historic preservation efforts. Light refreshments will be served and this annual fundraiser will feature a silent auction, raffles, a private film screening, and plenty more fun!

This year, we are celebrating 111 years of The Colonial Theatre with an evening of mystery, intrigue, and cinematic glamour. Dress as a hard-boiled detective, mysterious stranger, glamorous femme fatale—or simply in your favorite festive attire—and join us on the red carpet!

The evening will feature a private screening of the 85th anniversary classic The Maltese Falcon, starring Humphrey Bogart, Mary Astor, Peter Lorre, and Sydney Greenstreet. A landmark of film noir and John Huston’s acclaimed directorial debut, the film combines razor-sharp dialogue, shadowy intrigue, and unforgettable characters in the twisting pursuit of a priceless—and possibly mythical—treasure. It is the perfect centerpiece for a night celebrating The Colonial’s own long and storied history.

Tickets are $50 for admission, with the option to pre-purchase raffle tickets to use for item raffles and games at the event. Raffle tickets may also be purchased on-site, though pre-purchasing will save time.
